Tim RussoA former attorney, international development professional and political consultant, Tim has been working in media on high stakes, high profile enterprises his entire career.

Tim’s been neck deep in social media since 2004, launching and contributing to over a dozen social media projects in his home state of Ohio.  Tim has created over 80 Youtube videos, one of which was named by Politico the #7 Most Viral Video of the 2008 presidential campaign. Tim’s work and commentary have appeared on TV, radio, and in print on the BBC, Sky News, Al Jazeera, MSNBC, CNN, The London Sunday Times, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, NPR, among others.

In a former life, Tim was a political consultant at the highest levels – in the most key of all swing states, Ohio, in New Hampshire, and in the UK, working on all three New Labour victories in 1997, 2001, and 2005.  As an international development professional since 1997, Tim’s also trained thousands of election observers, activists, candidates, and civic organizers in 10 countries, including the West Bank/Gaza, Russia, Ukraine, Kosovo, Georgia, Croatia, and Latvia.  Tim grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating from Cleveland State University in 1989, and Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1994.  Tim is also licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.
